MSNExplorer Favorites>Organize locks at "Loading."

When I click Organize on MSNExplorer Favorites, it goes to LOADING and stays there. The problem is 8 months old. MSN Tier Two worked on it for a long time, includng hours controlling my PC. They said the XMLparser 6 was the problem, it needed to be replaced. The existing XML 6 oarser was removed and replaced. Problem remains. (MSN 10, IE 7 and 8 have been tried several times. Currently IE 8) MSN says entire IE program must be removed and IE 8 then installed, and parser will work. MS Top Tier says IE cannot be removed. Had control of PC for 4 hours today, could not resolve Organize-stops-at-loading problem. I don't say MSN and now MS aren't/weren't trying, but after months, they haven't been able to fix this. Does anyone else have THIS problem, not the "reappearing deletes in Favorites" one?

Thank you

XP Media Center, cable modem, DELL.

Yes, I have the same problem. My Favorites completely disappeared one
weekend, so I upgraded from MSN 9.0 to 9.6 via CD. The Favorites organize
page is completely blank, says LOADING and never does anything. I tried the
favorites fix download, no change. I sent an email to MSN tech help, they
wanted me to send a screen shot of the blank page. What good is that. All
these changes they've made recently are really screwing things up for some of
us. I'm still using IE7 if that makes any difference.

I had the problem of MSN Explorer favorites getting stuck on loading when
organizing was opened about 18 months ago. I don't have that problem now. It
lasted for months. Not sure what caused it to go away. At the time I was
running XP SP1 or SP2, IE6 and whatever version of MSN was current at the
time. Since that time I had to do a complete reload of Windows due to another
problem.

On my system I have two Windows XP user accounts. I use a different MSN
userid with MSN explorer on each Windows user account. The problem existed on
one Windows User account/MSN userid combination, and not on the other. You
might try seeing if you have the same problem if you access MSN explorer with
a different Windows user account and msn userid.

The good news was that although I had trouble "organizing" my MSN explorer
favorites, I was usually able to access them, and I never seemed to lose any
of the favorites I had saved. Havent had the problem for a year or so, so I'm
not sure what cured it. Good luck.
