My msn account was stolen from me by a former friend. Is there a way I can
get it back.
I tried password recovery but he changed all my recover options.

If it is a paid account you call customer support and answer some questions.
The paid accounts are tied to a name, a phone number and usually to a credit
card. If it is some other kind of MSN account the answer depends on your
account history, but customer support is the first place to go.

http://support.live.com - select Windows Live Account or Windows Live Hotmail to
open an email support case. Explain the details. You will then need to provide
proof of the account based on questions they will ask.
