Hi Breit,
I am concerned that MSN 10 is the last version and we will be forced to have to download our programs sepertly and I am a happy MSN 10 User and I love the way my email comes to me when I click on MAIL AND MORE at the top of the screen.
I have just read a bunch of websites saying MSN Premium is being phazed out and that we will have to download everything for free that we need. I am so use to this I dont want to go back to using firefox and Windows Live mail I like what I got now!
Please put the rumors to rest?
Thanks,
Christopher

Hi Chris
To access the latest installer for MSN Premium for Verzion, please go to
http://membercenter.msn.com and sign in with your account. On the right hand
side of the screen is a link to "Download MSN Software"
I am very glad to hear that you enjoy MSN Premium, and I promise you that
any reports of our demise is greatly exaggerated. We are, in fact, working
on the next version.
I have pinged our support folks to see if they have any additional
information on the downloadhost issue. I will post back if I find out
something useful
Thank you
Beri

MSN Explorer Download Manager Problem
When I click Download Manager the following pops up, cannot open file
.downloadhost. It has happened before but the only fix was to remove and
reinstall MSN Premium software. Well the problem I have is the link to
download software will not get me to MSN Premium. I have DSL service with
Verizon. Seems they are pushing Windows Live. They say if I download WL I
cannot go back to MSN Premium. Is Verizon not using MSN Premium anynore? So
does anyone have a fix without me having to download WL? I am not quite ready
for the WL but if I have to I will. Just Like MSN Explorer program very user
friendly. Is microsoft phasing out MSN Premium? Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks for the read

I don't know about your situation but Qwest lets me use MSN Premium and
Windows Live, even on the same computer. Anybody can "download Windows
Live" applications for free, so I don't see how Verizon can keep track.
Qwest doesn't even try. They give us a web site for account management, but
anyone who wants to continue to use MSN Explorer can do that too. I can
access the same mailbox using MSN Explorer, Windows Live Mail desktop
application, or the MSN/Hotmail/Live portal
Have you tried this web page http://membercenter.msn.com? Use Internet
Explorer
Do you have the CD you got with your first MSN subscription? Just stick it
in the drive and go
Good luck
Earl

Hmmm...redownload and reinstall MSN software when it screws up? With the
latest "improvements and upgrades" to the MSN premium software, I'd be
reinstalling it on a daily basis. What a load of crap. I personally love
the MSN browser and have since I first signed up with them 8 years ago.
Unfortunatly, it is starting to be like AOL (without the free CD's all over
the place). With each upgrade and improvement, the software slows down even
more and becomes more unreliable. I'm not even going to discuss the latest
Windows Live Messenger "improvements" Do us a favor and keep MSN and the
Windows Live garbage seperate!
