I have the same problem (started this weekend, some deleted items will not stay deleted). I use Comcast. The deleted items continue to reapear in the inbox on my desktop (msnmail), but do not show up on my laptop (hotmail). I can even move the emails to another folder and they will reapear in the inbox after about 15 seconds (when msnmail looks for new mail . . filtering). Most items delete as normal.

That was my suspicion
Have them open their web browser to http://www.hotmail.com and sign in wit
their MSN account ID and password for the LiveID
See if deleting or moving mail there is mimiced by MSN Explorer when they nex
connect.
It would appear that the index on MSN Explorer may be corrupt and that this i
causing the sync process to go a little haywire
They may want to try flushing all MSN Explorer settings by using Ctrl-Shift-F1
at the MSN signin box
Or reach out to MSN support via http://support.msn.co

She says that when she uses her laptop they will delete, but on the desktop

Also it is not necessarily junk email, and she was able to delete the email
for today

Just wondering if anyone found a solution. My cousin is having the same
issue. delete one or several emails - wait a little while and they pop right
back as the same emails. If you open trash, they come back. If you're quick
enough, you can right click on the trash and delete and they will stay
deleted. She uses msn through qwest as a bundled package. I've tried it
myself on her computer. From what I see from these posts, the common element
is msn, different providers
Thanks

I have to contact verizon, because like myself they are hooked to broadband
through verizon/fairpoint which gives us msn prem. but they don't give tech
support. I have tried it twice, with the same reply to contact verizon.
Won't this delete all emails?
Will the @msn. com acct. log into the hotmail.com account? I always thought
they were pretty much separate, and now with live id it really gets one
mixed up.
