I bought a new computer & paid consultant to transfer files to new MS Vista Acer computer where all MSN premium email personal folders on my computer disappeared. Was using Sympatico MSN Premium version 3, now using latest download version 9. Where are my email personal folders stored & how can I get them back? How do I see hidden files? Thanks

You may never see this reply since you used the egghead cafe instead of the
actual Microsoft discussion groups, but I'll post the answer here anyway. Your
paid consultant needs to retrieve the message from the other PC for you or you
need to sign in on that PC (into MSN Explorer) and do one of two things:
1. Move all of the messages from the folder "on this computer" to the inbox or
other folder that will sync up to the server
2. Use the Import/Export functionality of MSN Explorer found under Help &
Settings/Email to create a msnbak file of all of your email. You can then tcopy
this file to the new computer and use the same wizard to restore the MSNBAK file
to the new PC in MSN Explorer.
If you no longer have access to the old PC, the messages are now gone.
