I use MSN with my Verizon DSL and had to pay to keep my msn account - I just
paid the 9.95 price. I was able to get my laptop working fine but my desktop
keeps asking me to pay for the upgrade.

How do I get the upgrade to work on both computers with the same account.

The primary account on both computers needs to be using the same email address
that you paid for. Also, it is possible that you will need to reinstall MSN
Explorer on the desktop so that it "hooks up" with the correct account. You can
download the installer at http://membercenter.msn.com after you uninstall MSN
Explorer from the desktop machine.
And, as PA Bear noted, you can contact MSN Support for assistance - you're now
paying for the account. ;-)

MKB, now that it has been several weeks since your initial message, was your
problem with using MSN on 2 computers resolved? And if so how was it
resolved. I have just today paid the $9.95 and got a message that said to
remove an au.ini file and to uninstall and then reinstall the newest MSN
software on my computer. My wife has a seperate email address on the same
account. Will I have to do the same thing on her computer? I assume that
the faviorates and the saved e-mails will still be available with the newly
installed MSN sofware. Thanks. Sli22sli

Your favorites and email should be retained on a reinstall.
