I have MSN dial up 9 but I am using a LAN to access it. Every time I log in,
an error appears asking me for a dial up connection. I check the Connection
Settings and check LAN access, but still have the error. How can I make the
error disappear?

It has been a while since I looked at the MSN browser. I don't use it,
myself. But there is a setting, somewhere, to tell it to use the LAN instead
of to dial. I have done it for a relative. You need to find where the MSN
browser "Connections" menu is.

IE\Properties\Connections and select *** Never dial a connection****
After on the same page make sure your Lan settings is set correctly

Fine for MS Internet Explorer, but not for the MSN browser.

Look for the Connection Center icon at top of page, then connection settings to configure.
Iirc, the settings may also be available from the MSN sign in window(i.e....should be a connection settings option)
