I can get to www.msn.com. I can sign in and out. When I select my msn I
get the error. I've seen some other people on this discussion group with the
same problem and also with in the last week. What's up?

My system is a dell laptop with Windows XP SP3, IE8, and all the latest
windows updates

It works if I use Firefox 3.5.3. It works on another computer I have with
Windows XP SP3 and IE 8.

I've tried the following and still have the problem
1. Reboot
2. clear all IE cache, temp files, passwords, cookies, etc.
3. use msconfig and turn off all unnecessary services and startups (things
like av etc.)
4. try different msn live id's
5. tried differrent networks (work vs home)

As shown in the "other" discussion in this group, MSN has admitted they have
an issue and are working to fix it.

Why has it been seven days now with no resolve? They must have run out of
butterflies.

All you can do right now is wait, or find another home page.

I forgot one thing, you wll need to unhide hidden files.
I found for Vista if you go to C:\Users\(your user
name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\Low
the problem. All you will have to do is sign in then whenb you get to the
mymsn page. The [1] might sometimes come up as a differnet number or you
might have a msn[1] and msn[2], etc... You should delete them all.
