If you want to turn off all sounds, you can go into MSN messenger, and under the drop down menu choose audio and video set-up, turn off the speaker. Also, under MSN e-mail choose settings, then internet, then sounds and uncheck the boxes, then save. There is also a place for other sounds on the control panel, and on internet explorer under tools, internet options.

How do I turn off MSN Explorer sounds

How can I turn off MSN Explorer sing-in / sign-out sounds? They are too loud
and are an issue at night when the kids are asleep and I am working on the
computer. The Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Sound tab doesn't
appear to have anything for MSN Explorer. Are there .wav files I can rename
or delete? Any help would be most appreciated.
